Compatibility

AquaBoost TraxLog is compatible with Honda AquaTrax models with a 2-connector ECU and 4-pin DLC connector: the F-12 (2002–2007), F-12X (2004–2007), R-12 (2002–2007), and R-12X (2004–2007). Not compatible with 3-connector ECUs, 2-pin DLC connectors, or the F-15X. The F-15X is not compatible.

No. TraxLog is purpose-built exclusively for Honda AquaTrax. It is not compatible with other Personal Water Craft brands or models.

Check your model designation and year on the hull data plate (typically located in the engine compartment or glove box area). If you're still unsure, contact us before ordering and we'll help you verify compatibility.

Installation & Setup

No. Installation requires no tools and no mechanical experience. The TraxLog module connects directly to your AquaTrax's ECU diagnostic connector. Most riders complete the installation in less than 2 minutes.

The diagnostic port is located in the engine compartment, typically near the ECU. Exact location varies slightly by model and year. The quick-start guide includes model-specific location photos.

No app download required. Power on your AquaTrax, then connect your phone, tablet, or computer to the TraxLog's WiFi network. Open any browser, navigate to AquaBoost.local, and the web app — hosted directly on the device — loads automatically. You'll be live in seconds.

Features & Usage

TraxLog streams RPM, boost pressure, coolant temperature, throttle position, manifold absolute pressure (MAP), and other available ECU data parameters in real time. The web app displays these as interactive gauges with color-coded warnings on your phone, tablet, or computer screen.

Yes. TraxLog can read Honda AquaTrax diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) and display plain-language descriptions in the app. You can also clear codes directly from the app. Note that clearing codes does not fix the underlying issue — it simply resets the fault indicator.

The TraxLog broadcasts its own WiFi network. Reliable range depends on your device and environment, but is more than sufficient for use on the watercraft or dockside. Smart auto-reconnect keeps your session alive if you momentarily move out of range.

Yes. Data logging can be started manually or configured to start automatically based on throttle percentage. You can review logged sessions in the history view and export data as a CSV file for use in spreadsheets or to share with a technician. Detailed reports of DTCs and data logs can also be generated directly from the web app.

The TraxLog module is filled with a high-quality PCB-grade potting compound to make it as water resilient as possible. While we take every measure to protect the electronics, we recommend keeping the module away from direct water exposure when possible.

Yes. TraxLog can be used on any compatible Honda AquaTrax — simply unplug it from one craft and connect it to another.

Yes. The TraxLog creates its own WiFi network and hosts the web app directly on the device — no internet connection is required for any core functionality including live data, fault codes, and logging.

Firmware updates are delivered OTA (over-the-air) and are free of charge. No computer is required — updates are installed directly from the TraxLog web app via the Settings → Firmware Update section. An internet connection is required to download the latest firmware.
